- Nine years ago, in Vancouver, Canada my future husband introduced me to Peter Nishimura and the Mitzvah Technique. I studied with Peter briefly before he moved to Sapporo, and we moved to Tokyo, Japan. While overseas we saw Peter occasionally. We left Japan and relocated to Toronto, so that I could study to be a Mitzvah Teacher. For the past 18 months, I've been studying under Toshie Okabe, at the Downtown Mitzvah Studio. I'm blessed to have met M. Cohen-Nehemia, founder of the Mitzvah Technique, here in Toronto.
